Bramble Ram Goods is a small family business in Fort Collins, Colorado. We make handmade leather ornaments, and we take the trust of our customers, many of whom are family and friends, seriously. This policy explains what information we collect through brambleram.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.

What we collect and why
When you place an order
We collect your name, email address, phone number, billing address, and shipping address (if your order is shipped), along with the ornaments, leather, and imprint you choose and any order notes. We use this information to make your ornament, process payment, ship your order or arrange pickup, calculate sales tax, send order confirmations and updates, and contact you with questions about your order.
When you contact us
If you use our contact form, we collect your name, email address, and message so we can reply to you.
When you sign up for our newsletter
If you choose to subscribe, we collect your email address (and your name, if you provide it) to send occasional updates about new designs, seasonal deadlines, and our family's work. Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time.
When you browse the site
Like most websites, we automatically receive basic technical information such as your browser type, device, IP address, and the pages you visit. We use this to keep the site secure, prevent spam and fraud, and understand how visitors find us.
Payments
Payments are processed securely by WooPayments, which is powered by Stripe. Your full card number is entered directly with the payment processor and is never stored on our website or seen by us. We only see limited details, such as the card type and last four digits, to identify your payment.
Local pickup
If you choose local pickup in Fort Collins, the pickup address is shared only with you, in your order confirmation email.
Cookies and tracking
Our site uses cookies, small files stored in your browser, for the following purposes:
- Essential cookies keep your cart and checkout working and keep the site secure. The store cannot function without them.
- Order source tracking records how you arrived at our site (for example, from a search or a social media post) and is attached to your order so we can understand what is working.
- Google (through Google for WooCommerce) may be used to list our products on Google and to measure visits and purchases that come from Google ads and listings.
- Snapchat (through Snapchat for WooCommerce and the Snap Pixel) may be used to measure visits and purchases that come from Snapchat ads and to show our ads to people who may be interested.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can manage ad personalization through your Google and Snapchat account settings. Blocking essential cookies may prevent the cart and checkout from working.
Who we share your information with
We never sell your personal information. We share it only with the services that help us run the store:
- WooPayments and Stripe to process payments and prevent fraud.
- WooCommerce Shipping and the U.S. Postal Service to verify addresses, create shipping labels, and deliver your order.
- Mailgun, our email delivery service, which securely sends order confirmations and replies on our behalf.
- Our newsletter service to send emails to subscribers.
- Google and Snapchat to list our products and measure advertising, as described above.
- Our website host, which stores the site and its data.
We may also share information if required by law, such as for tax reporting.
How long we keep your information
We keep order records as long as needed for taxes and accounting, typically up to 7 years. We keep contact form messages only as long as needed to respond and follow up. Newsletter subscribers stay on our list until they unsubscribe.
Your choices
You can email us at matt@brambleram.com at any time to ask to see the information we have about you, correct it, or delete it. We'll honor your request unless we're required to keep certain records, such as order and tax records. You can unsubscribe from our newsletter using the link in any newsletter email.
Children
Our site is intended for adults making purchases. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our store grows. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
